How to Make Delicious Nigerian Goat Meat Noodles Pepper Soup at Home

INGREDIENTS


  • Goat Meat

  • Pepper-soup mix

  • Vegetable oil

  • Habanero Pepper or Scotch bonnet

  • Scent leaf or fresh basil

  • Rice Noodles


INSTRUCTIONS

1. Start by making the Pepper-soup. In a pot, cook the seasoned goat meat with some water until tender. I season with Ginger, Garlic, Onions, Salt and Seasoning Powder.



2. In the same pot, add the pepper soup mix, a tablespoon of vegetable oil and chopped pepper. Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

3. Add scent leaf (or chopped fresh basil) to the pot

4. While the Pepper-soup is simmering, prepare the noodles. Soak the noodles in hot water for about 5 minutes, then strain and rinse with cold water to remove excess starch.

5. Once the noodles are rinsed, strain them again and they're ready to eat.


6. To serve, you can plate the noodles first and then pour the pepper soup over them. This way, you can control the amount of soup you want to add to your noodles.
